A fresh bomb blast has occurred this morning in Yobe State. The bomb went of at Potiskum School, many students fear dead with several others injured.
According to CHANNELS TV report, It was reported that the bomb went off when the students of Senior Science Secondary School gathered for morning assembly. It was also reported that the suicide bomber is said to have been a student.
It was said that the suicide bomber disguised as a student and entered the assembly hall with the students and triggered the explosive.
It was reported that the explosion happened around 7:45am during the first assembly of the week. As at the time of this report, a student of the school told CHANNELS TV he counted 19 dead bodies with several injured. Potiskum is a major commercial town in Yobe State.
Around 12pm this morning, Cable News Network (CNN) reported Police said "at least 47killed and 79 injured" in the blast.
