The 68-year Chuck Hagel has
resigned as US Defense Secretary. He was described as an exeemplary
Defense Secretary by President Obama during a send-off at the white
house.
Hagel
was a republican senator and Vietnam war veteran. According to Sky
news, He has also agreed to stay on until the senate announced a
successor.
