President Jonathan on Sunday through his Special Assistant on Public Affairs, Dr. Doyin Okupe responded to the comment by the former President, Olusegun Obasanjo.
He described himself as the best leader Nigeria has ever had since the country gained independence. Olusegun Obasanjo had earlier over the weekend at an event said "the Goodluck's administration performance is below average"
The SA on Public Affairs in the statement read "those comments by the former President are untrue".
The statement thereby concluded with a confirmation that the country is facing a war. It reads "the truth of the matter which we must know and accept is that we have an internal enemy, supported by internal and external resources waging a major warfare against our nation". (Credit: PunchNg News)
