Terrorism! Al-Shabab Claims Responsibility for Kenya Bus Attack!


The Al-Shabab fighters in a statement claimed responsibility for the attack that was lunched on a bus carrying 60 passengers this morning. The bus was hijacked about 50km from Mundera town near Kenya's border with Somalia. Two officers who pleaded anonymity conrfirmed the incident.

28 people were confirmed dead in the attack which the Al-shabab fighters said it was a revenge for raids carried our by Kenyan security forces on mosques in the coastal city of Mombasa. The police had earlier founded explosives and arrested about 150 persons in the raid.

The statement is stated below:

“The Mujahideen successfully carried out an operation near Mandera early this morning, which resulted in the perishing of 28 crusaders, as a revenge for the crimes committed by the Kenyan crusaders against our Muslim brethren in Mombasa

The Kenyan security forces said they are in pursuit of the perpetrators and would give updates as event unfolds. The attack happened around 5:45am local time on Saturday according to Al-Jazeera news.
