The Premium Times reported today that the Gombe State Government has ordered the closure of all schools in the state a day after terrorists attacked two towns in the state.
This is a great development as it is a way of safeguarding the lives of the students.
Although, it was reported that the state's permanent secretary denied it was due to pressure from the Book Haram terrorists saying "it is normal mid-term break for the students."
The attack on the two towns; Nafada and Ashaka happened on Tuesday, 4th November, 2014.
