The Deputy Director, Public Relations, Department of State Services, Ms. Marylyn Ogar said investigations revealed that the All Progressives Congress (APC) planned to hack into the Independent National Electoral Commission's (INEC) database in order to increase number of its members.
It was learned that this was deduced from the confessions from the arrested staff at the party's office during a raid on the APC's office at 10, Bola Ajibola street, Ikeja, Lagos State where items retrieved indicated the plan of the party to hack into the INEC's database.
