The students of the University of Ibadan, Oyo state on Thursday took to the streets in protest and block Mokolo-Ojo road in Ibadan, the state capital over the death of a student.
Though, details of the student's death is yet to be ascertained but it was gathered that the said student died as a result of asthmatic attack overnight but was not attended to at a clinic which allegedly led to his death.

Alaran was said to have collapsed during the Champions League match between FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich on Wednesday night in the common room of Independent hall. After failed efforts to revive him at the scene, he was rushed to the school clinic where he later died.
The students' protest was based on the fact that the ambulance arrived late which they say led to the death of their colleague.
However, they did not allow any journalist to use camera in covering the protest and also attacked those who tried capturing it with their phones. We pray may the family of the deceased be granted the fortitude to bear the loss.
