The Economic and Financial crimes Commission (EFCC) has rearrested the former Governor of Adamawa state and his son over allegations of money laundering. A statement by the anti-graft agency states;
"The former governors of Imo and Adamawa States Ikedi Ohakim and Murtala Nyako are likely to be arraigned today Wednesday 8/7/15 by the EFCC before a Federal High Court in Abuja.
The duo,including Abdulazeez, son of Murtala Nyako, were taken into custody July 7,preparatory to their arraignment."
Muritala Nyako and his son were earlier this year arrested but freed until their rearrest.
