Saraki, Ekweremadu get vote of confidence

Eighty-one senators passed vote of confidence on the Senate President, Abubakar Bukola Saraki and his deputy, Ekweremadu on Tuesday.

The motion, which was moved by Senator Samuel Anyanwu (Imo east), had a wide range of support base and acceptance of majority of the Senate, as 81 Senators supported the motion.

This move also put all insinuations to rest over the displease of some senators following the election of Senator Saraki. Also, cases of alleged corruption and forgery have been levelled against the Senate President in the past weeks.

We just hope they get everything right and have time to serve the nation in order to deliver the change they promised.
