The Nigerian Army during a joint operation with the Nigerian Airforce achieved a great feat against the Boko Haram terrorists today. The army during a cordon and search operation at Sandia, Kokakowa and Nyaleri villages suspected to be Boko Haram enclaves early today, discovered and destroyed another Improvised Explosives Device (IED) making factory at Miyati and Nyaleri villages, along Maiduguri-Bulabulin-Damboa road, in Damboa LGA Borno State, Nigeria.

The three terrorists nabbed includes an Ameer, a high contact and a foot soldier. Also discovered were IED making equipment, a Peugeot pickup foodstuffs, 10-KVA Lister generator, gas cylinders, borehole, pumping machine, 3 bags of maize, bag of millet & 13 empty AGO Jerry cans.
The troops are very excited with their accomplishments. The Army is now making advancement to recapture and destroy terrorist held areas within Gamboru Ngala areas. This operation against the terrorists is tagged 'Operation Lafiya Dole'. Below are pictures of the items discovered.
