The Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki was on Thursday pelted with stones during Eid Prayer in Ilorin, Kwara State capital.
Saraki, who stood trial at the code of conduct tribunal on Tuesday over alleged 13 count charge of corruption and false declaration of assets.
TVC News reported people 'patiently waited to stone him' after the prayers. He was however whisked and cover up away from the Eid venue to save him from the angry crowd.

This should be a lesson to everyone. This development only speaks one thing; Saraki's people won't support him if he is found guilty of the corruption charges and they are already disappointed.
