Irish-born William Campbel, Satoshi Omura of Japan and China's Youyou Tu have won the United Nation's Nobel Medicine Prize on Monday.
Both Satoshi and Campbel were cited for discoveries concerning a novel therapy against infections caused by roundworm parasites.
Tu of China was rewarded for discoveries concerning a novel therapy against malaria.
