[Terrorism] Nigeria: DSS nabs another wanted Boko Haram member

The Department of State Security (DSS) on Sunday morning arrested one of the wanted Boko Haram terrorists whose names and pictures were released by the Nigerian Army few months ago.

The Boko Haram member named Danladi Abdullahi was arrested in Maiduguri at Moduganari area. This high profile arrest follows other terrorists who have been nabbed over past weeks as the fight against Boko Haram tightens. 


Boko Haram wanted list
The Nigerian Army however appreciated the DSS for its selfless service and worthy partnership in this fight. In a statement released by the Nigerian Army as posted via the Nigerian Army twitter handle:

Following the release of 100 suspected Boko Haram terrorists photographs, security agencies and the public have intensified search for them. The renewed zeal has been yielding the desired result as the Borno State Command of Department of State Services (DSS) has this morning arrested another suspected high profile Boko Haram terrorist, Danladi Abdullahi at Moduganari area of Maiduguri metropolis. He is still being investigated, it has been positively established that he is number 26 on the list of the declared suspected BH terrorists The COAS Lt Gen TY Buratai, personally wishes to commend the DSS especially Borno State Command, for this singular act, resilience and continued support and cooperation in the fight against terrorism and Insurgency. 
The general public are also enjoined to be vigilant and see the fight against terrorism as a collective responsibility.
