Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Odulana dies at 101

The Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Samuel Odulana Odugade has passed on last night at the age of 101 in Ibadan, Oyo state, Nigeria. 


The monarch who could have been aged 102 in April reportedly died in his sleep on Tuesday night after several weeks of being indisposed due to old age. 

Oba Odulana became the 39th Olubadan in 2007. It was gathered by THE NATION NEWS that the next in line to be crowned Olubadan is the Balogun of Ibadan, High Chief Saliu Olatunji.
