President Muhammadu Buhari addressed the European Parliament on Wednesday at Strasbourg, France.
He later had a bilateral meeting with the President of the European Parliament Mr Martin Schulz. See more photos below:
President Buhari in his address, talked about key issues bothering on the Nigerian Economy, Democracy, Chibok, Boko Haram, Immigration, Job Creation, Visas, Economic Partnership Agreements (EPAs), Oil Theft, Open Economic Borders and Climate Change.
He also stated the achievements of the country in area of security especially Boko Haram. Boko Haram. "Indeed, all the Local Government Areas that were hitherto under the control of the Boko Haram terrorists in Adamawa, Borno and Yobe States in the North-Eastern flank of Nigeria, have been recaptured." He said.
He also says the government is commuted to providing jobs which is reflected in the country's 2016 budget which has 500,000 graduate teaching jobs provided for.
Also, he requested a reciprocal waivers on visas for Nigerians attending conferences in Europe.
