(PHOTOS) Fuel scarcity still biting hard in Kwara state

The case in Kwara state has been the same for weeks over fuel scarcity. The premium motor spirit (PMS) otherwise known as Petrol which sells at high prices is still not being sold by filling stations

Indications and investigations by Seidu Kazeem's Blog reveals that some filling stations have the products but choose to hoard it and sell at prices between #160 and #180 per litre at late hours of the night.

This is nothing but clear sale of official black market in the filling station. The disturbing part of the case is that those who need the fuel for use in their cars and at home are not getting fair chance to buy the product due to the increased numbers of black maket roadside sellers who bombard the filling stations to buy in jericans and resell at higher prices.

The NNPC Mega station in Ilorin has however been discharging the product since the beginning of this situation. Also, amidst all this sabotage, a filling station owned by a woman still stands on the right path to also sell at the government approved pump price of #86.50k in all her filling stations.

We hope things will get better as promised by the government.
