Ministerial Appointment: PWAN's 2022 Set Congratulates Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim

Following the nomination and appointment of Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim as the Nigeria's Minister for Youth Development by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the 2022 Set of Partners West Africa Nigeria (PWAN)'s Political and Leadership Mentorship Programme has congratulated the Honorable Minister.

The congratulatory message was contained in a press release jointly signed by the PWAN's 2022 Set members, Rofiat Abdulkareem-Seidu (North-Central), Hauwa Ibrahim Jikamshi (North West), Chinyere S. Ezinmwa  (South-East), Joy Funmilayo Otoide-Ojemoron (South-South), Mariam O. Saka (South-West) and Nankyer Sarah Joseph (North-East) on 26th September, 2023.

The entire 2022 Set of Partners West Africa Nigeria (PWAN) Political and Leadership Mentorship Programme, is pleased to extend our warmest felicitation to Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim on her recent appointment as the Minister of Youth of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The appointment stands as a testament to Dr Jamila Bio Ibrahim’s stellar capabilities, achievements, unwavering dedication, and commitment to youth and women empowerment, as well as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and overall societal development. Her remarkable leadership skills have been evident throughout her illustrious career as a Medical Doctor, Politician, and Development Practitioner. Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim possesses an empathetic and charismatic personality, coupled with extensive experience in political professionalism, which she consistently demonstrated during our time together in the PWAN’s 2022 political mentorship training for 30 young Nigerian women brought together across the six geo-political zones. We take great pride in witnessing her assume this pivotal role in national leadership, particularly at this critical time.

As Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim’s fellows during PWAN 2022 Political and Leadership Mentorship Programme, we have witnessed her unwavering passion for youth development initiatives. Her profound knowledge, visionary leadership, and comprehensive approach truly qualify her as the ideal individual to address the needs and aspirations of Nigerian youth, especially during this critical period.
