The Nigerian Communications Commission has announced its decision to approve a partial disconnection of Globacom Limited (Globacom) from MTN.
This action is as a result of Globacom's indebtedness to MTN over a period of time and the lack of substantive evidence from Globacom on why they should not be disconnected after MTN applied for the disconnection.
What does this mean?
This means every subscriber on Globacom will be affected by this disconnection and will not be able to make calls to any MTN line starting 10 days from today but will he able to receive incoming calls.
According to the NCC:
"At the expiration of ten (10) days from this notice, subscribers of Globacom will no longer be able to make calls to MTN, but will be able to RECEIVE CALLS".
