The Remains of Zambia President, Michael Sata arrived in Zambia on Saturday, November 1st, 2014. He is to be buried on November 11, 2014 at Embassy Park in Lusaka. The burial site is reserved for head of states.
The body will be at the International Conference Center where the general public will be allowed to view his body during the lying In State till November 9. The parliament will hold thanksgiving service on November 10 followed by the burial on November 11, 2014.
The Vice President, Guy Scott was elevated to the acting President after the President, Michael Sata left Zambia to UK to seek medical attention.
A new President must be elected within the next three months with the acting President, Guy Scott not allowed to run for the office. Guu Scott became the first white leader of an African country in 20yrs.
