Tijani Babangida A former Golden Eagles player, who is also brother to Tijani Babangida and was part of the FIFA U-17 World Cup-winning Golden Eagles squad in Japan has been reported dead. The unfortunate incident happened today as a result of a ghastly accident involving Tijani Babangida, his wife and his brother, Ibrahim. The 1996 Olympic Games gold medallist and President of the Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria, Tijani Babangida and his wife have been moved to a hospital. The PUNCH reported.
