Following the unfortunate incident at House of Assembly on Thursday 20th November, 2014. There has been indication that some members of the house have began initiation of impeachment process against the President. This was revealed as reported by punchng.com that about 113 members of the house have signed the petition to impeach President Goodluck Jonathan.
The APC had before now threatened to initiate an impeachment process against the president if Aminu Tambuwal is removed. They also considered the lockdown of the House of Assembly on Thursday and shooting of tear gas to the speaker and members as very unfortun unfortunate and affront on the legislature and the office of the speaker.
It was also gathered that the PDP members have began move to stop the process. punchng.com also reported that a source inside the house of assembly said "the PDP caucus will stop them".
