After what seems to be a party hijack by the Ebonyi State Deputy Governor Engr. Dave Umahi, many PDP party Stewarts on Tuesday 9th December left the party to join the Labour Party.
The move which is the Genesis of Labour Party in Ebonyi came as a result of bad party polity on the part of PDP National Body.
The Ebonyi State chapter of the ruling party as been riding on rough tides since the nomination of Former Minister for Health Prof Onyebuchi Chukwu as the party Gubernatorial Candidate.
The Newly formed Labour Party has picked its flag bearers for various electoral positions. The party primaries was held on Wednesday 10th December.
Only time will tell, what effect this will have on both parties. All eyes shift to Ebonyi State for 2014.
