**UPDATE** The 7 Division of the Nigerian Army in Maiduguri on Sunday annoinced that the earlier imposed curfew will be lifted on Monday morning.
The statement reads "Please be informed that the curfew will last till 6am tomorrow(Monday) morning. Therefore, people can go about their legitimate business as from 6am."
The Nigeria military authorities has imposed an indefinite curfew in Maiduguri, Borno State. This is as a result of the invasion of Maiduguri by the Boko Haram terrorist group. The military has said the curfew will be till further notice as efforts to retake territories from the insurgents go on.
Efforts of the military is being supported by the vigilantes in repelling multiple attacks of the insurgents. We hope this ends now and forever. God bless Nigeria.
