Nollywood Stars To Go On Peaceful Walk Against Piracy

In response to the level of piracy in the country and creativity theft that has been eating deep into the entertainment industry in recent times, the stakeholders in the entertainment industry are going on a peaceful road walk against 'piracy' on Monday.

A statement released by a Nollywood star, Muyiwa Ademola popularly known as 'Authentic' says:
"A peaceful walk against the scourge of piracy will hold on Monday the 20th of April at 9:am from Ikeja Under Bridge through Awolowo way to  governor's office alausa. Please inform others. Piracy is deadlier to filmmaker's life than Ebola! Let's #Bringanendtopiracy"
The likes of Tunde Kelani and Kunle Afolayan have suffered serious piracy hits on their last productions. Some weeks ago, traffic hawkers were pictured hawking Kunle Afolayan's 'October 1' movie which is yet to be released on DVD.
