Explosion hits an Eid Praying Ground in Damaturu, Yobe state at about 8am on Friday during the eid prayer to mark the end of Ramadan.

The prayer ground located in an area called phase one along Maiduguri road was hit by the blast killing unidentified number of persons. This has led to Muslim faithful being ordered to return home.
