A source told Premium Times that the Boko Haram terrorist group has taken over the road linking Damaturu, Yobe state to Maiduguri, Borno state.
Reports of attack were also reported earlier today at Ngamdu, a village about 35km from Damaturu killing 10 persons.
Nigerian soldiers are currently fighting the militants off while motorists are asked to go back to Maiduguri until the road is cleared.
