Death toll has now risen to 107 with 238 injured. The Saudi Civil Authorities say the crane that fell is part of the construction equipment at the Holy mosque.

At least a total number of 52 People were said to have died after a crane collapsed on the Grand mosque in Mecca, said by Saudi authorities. According to a report by BBC, the cause of the collapse has not been ascertained but images posted on social media shows several dead bodies.
