[Breaking] Tribunal Nullifies Buruji Kashamu and PDP Rep Election in Ogun state

The National and State House of Assembly Tribunal sitting in Abeokuta, Ogun state capital on Friday nullified thr election of two federal lawmakers both members of People's Democratic Party (PDP).

Buruji Kashamu, PDP senatorial candidate, Ogun East election was nullified by the tribunal. 

In the same vein, the tribunal also nullified the election of House of Representatives member, Segun Adekoya, representing Ogun Waterside, Ijebu North and Ijebu East federal constituency. 

The ruling was delivered by the tribunal on the basis that elections in the affected areas were marred by irregularities and also ordered a re-run in 122 polling units in Ijebu North, Ijebu East and Ogun Waterside. 

Senator  Aidoko

In Lokoja, Kogi stare capital, the tribunal has also declared Senator  Aidoko of PDP as the winner of Kogi East Senatorial election.
