Honourable Desmond Elliot, representing Surulere Constituency 1 in his effort to assist more physically challenged persons to keep up and be of great value to themselves and the society has organized a one month 'SKILLS DEVELOPMENT AND EMPOWERMENT' PROGRAM' for the challenged persons in his constituency.

He stated this program aims at providing them with more sources of income by one or more skills. The program which will end on November 3, 2015, is taking place at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos state. Training include Bead-Making, Millinery, Tie-Die (Adire) Making, Arts & Crafts Creation, etc.
We hope developmental programs like this will keep happening in order to help more youths.
