Legendary comedian, Atunyota Alleluya Akporobomerere popularly known as ALI BABA clearly and distinctly said what can be regarded as a 'deep truth' and also an 'eye-opener' for those who have the sense to process it.

Last week, ex-model and blogger, Linda Ikeji revealed her N100m mansion. For those who know her story, it is a well deserved success but for those who don't, they may get it all wrong. Ali Baba however threw in some wise words on his Instagram page on Tuesday which reads:
"So a blogger bought an over N500m house in Banana Island... Blogger? You people think you have seen blogs? Just wait! Now that she has bought that house... The number of bloggers will increase by 200%. And as it happened in Music, movies and comedy. All roads lead in. Anyone with a laptop that has active data will start blogging. Soon, no one will be safe. Any gist to drive traffic. You may want to check out the trend in the past. How many event planners are there now? Can you count the number of ushering outfits and decorators in lagos now? How many event places sprang up after XQZmoi? Soft sell magazines? Fashion houses? Makeup artistes? Photographers? Night clubs? Time was that the story was What kind of money is Ali Baba claiming he charges? Who will pay a comedian 200k? For what? Is it not his wife? He was paid 1.6m by GUINNESS in 1996? How can? Then the money rose to 500k, 1m and then 2m per event... And the clients who had been paying for over 10 years started corroborating my fees. Then the story changed and the influx began. Plus those who had talent ooo plus those who did not ooo! All join! This is the matter with some Nigerians. They do not need to know what your business is about. As long as you do not show proof that you are making money, they will claim you are living off people. Until they find out the truth. And by the time it finally hits them that you are actually worth the kind of money you are making, they have run their mouths so much that they would rather make up some more stories than admit they had read you wrong. People who do not know how much Linda has been making have now resorted to, "it's some guy behind her house". Take a calculator and do the numbers. In any case, as I have said, sometimes, when you say how much you earn or own, it's not about show off. It's just away of inspiring others or challenging them to make it. Or plainly celebrating yourself! What's wrong with that? That said, one idiot that told me in 2013, that it was stupid of any artiste to show off their possessions, has wished Linda congratulations. Now it's ok, abi? Blogs... NA UNA go tire for blogs. Just watch"
It is a fact that the number of bloggers will surely increase but only few will understand and be willing to go through the pain. Also, the increase may have a negative impact on the flow of information and the need to checkmate the mediums.
