President Buhari withdraws Ibeto from ministerial list

President Buhari on Wednesday withdraws the name of Mr.  Ahmed Ibeto from the list of the ministerial nominees. According to Channels TV, President Buhari sent a letter to the Senate President to that effect. 

Mr. Ibeto was a nominee from Niger state. He was the Senate Chairman of the National Republican Convention in 1990 and has served in different capacities. Resin for his name's withdrawal is not known at the moment. 

Meanwhile, at the end of the screening today, the senate confirmed 18 ministers who had fielded questions from the senators. They are Sen. Hadi Sirika, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, Barr. Solomon Dalong, Sen. Aisha Jumai Alhassan, Dr. Sen. Chris Ngige, Abubakar Malami (SAN), Dr. Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu, former Lagos state governor, Babatunde Fashola, Mr. Ibrahim Jibril, Engr. Sulaiman Hussaini Adamu, Amina J. Mohammed, Alh. Lai Mohammed, Lt General Dambazau, Dr. Ehaniere Osagie, Christopher Ogbonnaya Onu, Audu Ogbeh, Kayode Fayemi and Udoma Udo-Udoma.

All the aforementioned names have now been confirmed ministers of Federal Republic of Nigeria.
