It was yet another defeat at Stamford Bridge, the Blues home. Southampton owned the game from start to finish with Chelsea's defense finally collapsed towards the end of the match and gave room for a third goal.
Here is what Jose Mourinho has to say after the match. Mourinho said there is no way he would resign because Chelsea cannot have a better manager. So, no chance he would run away. He said he would only only leave if the club owner or the board say they don't want him.
He however said he is aware of the negative reactions from fans about Willians substitution at half time. He said the player was ill and vomiting. He said he believes the players have confidence in him during his conversation with them earlier this week. He believes Chelsea will be back in the top four by December or January.
Meanwhile, he said he is ready to take suggestions and start some of the young players. He said some of the young players may not feel the pressure while some of the senior ones are having trouble.
In his own reaction, Southampton's manager, Ronald said it was a good win for them. He noted Chelsea was a little bit nervous and struggling during the match. He said they had the best chances and great defense organisation.
