Superstar musician, Davido pledges to sponsor boy's education

David Adedeji Adeleke popularly known as Davido has pledged to sponsor a boy's education up to university level.

The boy named Abubakar is one of the many children who don't have the opportunity of a basic education. Despite numerous policies and creation of ministries by the federal government, the educational sector has not witnessed a notable growth due to improper management and poor supervision.

 In his words on his Instagram page, Davido reiterates the importance of the need for every child to get basic education. He said

"Every child deserves an education but it's sad that, this is not the case in the world today but if we all do our part, the world would be a better place! God bless his soul. I AM READ to give his education till he finishes University. MY WORD"
