Vincent Enyeama quits the Nigeria's National Team on Thursday at the team's camp in Belgium. He confirmed his exit from the team while speaking with Channels Sport.

Enyeama said he decided to leave the team because he doesn't want to interrupt the coach's rebuilding process. Earlier in the week, the Super Eagle's goalkeeper had a misunderstanding with the national team head coach, Sunday Oliseh over his choice of Ahmed Musa as Captain of the team.
He questioned Oliseh's decision which didn't go down well and led to Enyeama being asked to leave the team's hotel whole the coach immediately made moves to call up another keeper, Dele Alampasu. After intervention by NFF, Enyeama was allowed to stay in camp but it seeks he already decided to leave. At the moment, Enyeama has left the team's camp in Belgium on his way to his club in France.
