Ministers sworn in on Wednesday. Former Lagos state governor, Babatunde Fashola is now Minister of Power, Works and Housing as Former Rivers state governor, Rotimi Amaechi becomes Minister of Transport.
Distinguished Nigerians appointed by the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari were sworn in on Wednesday at the presidential villa in Abuja. The even which started at 10pm local time had all the new ministers in attendance. Below is the full list of the ministers and their designated portfolios.
1. Abubakar Malami (SAN) is the Minister of Justice.
2. Geoffrey Onyeama is the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
3. Khadija Bukar Abba Ibrahim is the State Minister of Foreign Affairs.
4. Brig. Gen. MM Dan Ali is the Minister of Defense
5. Adamu Adamu is the Minister of Education.
6. Prof. Anthony Anwukah is the State Minister of Education.
7. Mrs Kemi Adeosun is the Minister of Finance.
8. Okechukwu Enelamah is the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment.
9. Ms. Aisha Abubakar is the State Minister of Industry, Trade & Investment.
10. Sen. Chris Ngige is the Minister of Labour & Employment.
11. Barr. James Ocholi is the State Minister of Labour & Employment.
12. Muhammadu Bello is the Minister of Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
13. Abdulrahman Bello Danbazau is the Minister of Interior.
14. Udoma Udo Udoma is the Minister of Budget and National Planning
15. Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed is the State Minister of Budget & Nat'l Planning.
