[Nigeria] Fuel Scarcity: NNPC moves to arrest artificial scarcity

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) moves against the scarcity of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) otherwise known as petrol.

The corporation In a released statement signed by its Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, Ohi Alegbe says it has 1.4bn litres of petrol for November alone, increases the number of marketers nationwide and also orders all NNPC Mega stations to commence 24hrs service across the country. 

Alegbe also reiterates that the corporation has 513 retail outlets across the country and are designed to have products at all times. Meanwhile, in order to increase monitoring of the activities of the mega stations and other filling stations, the NNPC has set up holiness where the general public can report and lodge their complaints regarding any of the stations.
