A female suicide bomber suspected to be a Boko Haram member detonated explosive at an IDPs transit camp on Sunday in Maiduguri, Borno state.
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) confirms the bomber was one of the people evacuated from Dikwa local council to Maiduguri, capital city of Borno state, Northeast Nigeria.
At least seven (7) people were reportedly killed in the attack and three (3) members of the Civilian Joint Task Force injured. Although, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack but Boko Haram is largely suspected.
