The Troops of 103 Batt under 21 Brig this morning conducted 23km wide clearance Ops in RIGAGA and its adjourning villages in BAMA and SAMBISA Axis.
The operation led to the arrest of two Boko Haram members and are currently under investigation by the Nigerian Army. Twenty (20) people were also rescued from the dreaded terrorist group consisting 14 children and 6 women and are currently receiving treatment and medical attention in the Nigerian Army's facility.
A similar operation was carried out at Lagaran Fulani and Ango Baya villages where items used by the terrorists were discovered and more terrorists camps cleared. At a camp in Sasawa, items discovered includes Improvised Explosive Devices making materials, 2 cylinders 1 Motorola Radio, 1 Garmin GPS, Detonating Cords & 1×RPG boms.
The Nigerian Army reiterates its commitment to end the activities of the group with increased morale of the soldiers.
