Nigerian Army rescues 210 captives from Boko Haram

Troops of the Nigerian Army have successfully rescued 210 captives from the Boko Haram terrorists at Furkati village, Geidam Local Government Area of Yobe state.


The Operation Lafiya Dole which has been getting increased success for some months now is still very much on to see the end of the dreaded terrorist group. Five (5) Boko Haram terrorists were killed in the encounter on Thursday. 


Also, four AK-47 rifles were recovered during the operation. The rescued captives while narrating their ordeal say the terrorists use them as human shield. "The rescued persons said that they were brought there by the terrorists from various villages to be used as human shield in case if advancing troops of the Nigerian Army came to attack the Boko Haram terrorists".
 

Earlier in the week, the chief cameraman of the terrorist group was captured whose picture is number 58 on the poster of the wanted terrorists released by the Nigerian Army.
