A lone car crash has killed one male child and injured five others in Oshogbo, Osun state, Nigeria on Thursday morning.

The crash happened at about 09:28am, some 12km from Olaija along Oshogbo-Gbongan road involving a Mazda L2000, says Federal Roads Safety Commission (FRSC) in the state.
One other female child, two male adults and two female adults were injured in the crash. The FRSC officials advised motorists not to overload their vehicles, always use seatbelts and not indulge in overspeeding in other to reach safely. These are some causes of the crash.
