Boko Haram: Nigerian Army rescues 63, kills 5 terrorists

The Nigerian Army has rescued Sixty-three (63) persons from the dreaded Boko Haram terrorists on Thursday.


In a statement released by the force's acting Director, Public Relations Officer, Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, the terrorists hideouts at Lawin Meleri, Matiri Bulaka and Aljeri villages were cleared by the Army Headquarters Special Forces Team B, 7 Division Garrison. 



During the fighting patrol, Five (5) Boko Haram terrorists were killed and their hideouts razed down. A dane gun and one light machine gun bipod stand was discovered. An IED was detonated during the operation.
