Kuje Prison Jailbreak: MEND's Charles Okah still in custody

Contrary to the reports that Charles Okah of the Movement for the Emancipation of Niger Delta (MEND) was part of the jailbreak that happened at the Kuje Prison, Abuja, late Friday night (24th June, 2016), the prison's official have now confirmed that he is still in custody.

**Update**
Charles Okah reportedly ate with the escaped prisoners at about 7:20pm

Charles Okah is the brother of MEND leader, Henry Okah who is currently serving a 24year jailterm in South Africa from masterminding terrorist activities while Charles is standing trial for a bombing which claimed at least 27 lives on Independence Day in 2010.

He was thought to have escaped when he was not found in his cell after the jailbreak was reported. It was later learnt that Mr. Charles was at the prison clinic and had not been brought back to his cell.

Spokesperson for the Nigeria Prison Service, Francis Enobore confirmed to Sahara Reporters that two inmates that escaped are Maxwell Ojukwu from Delta State and Solomon Amodu from Kogi State
