The President and minister of petroleum, Muhammadu Buhari on Monday breaks silence on the unfortunately fuel scarcity that has continued biting hard on Nigerians has generated a lot of questions and criticism on the president who seems to be doing nothing or little to tackle the situation.

He however made his regrets known in series of tweet on his official twitter page which read:

"I am deeply convinced that better days lie ahead for us as a nation as we make progress on all the major fronts where we have set our energies to surmount the challenges.
.
.
And in this season of hope, let us remember to provide refuge and help to those less privileged than us.
.
.
I wish all Nigerians Happy Christmas celebrations. As I noted yesterday, the fuel scarcity that has caused many of you to spend this period on fuel queues is deeply regretted. All relevant agencies of Government are working round-the-clock to bring relief to you."
