As 2019 general elections in Nigeria draw nearer, different respected nigerians are coming out to declare their stands.
One of such people is the veteran publisher, Dele Momodu reminded nigerians that he left the camp of President Buhari even before the former president, Olusegun Obasanjo revert his support for Buhari.
No second guessing, I left BUHARI even before OBJ and gave my reasons publicly... https://t.co/j62aC2rltM— Dele Momodu Ovation (@DeleMomodu) November 11, 2018
In a thread on twitter, Mr. Dele Momodu gave an insight to why he thinks the second term ambition of President Buhari might have some glitches. He tweeted "The best time of every government is the first term when you are supposed to take off with full and fresh energy at supersonic speed and not in the second term when you may be weak and weary and frustrated by the mere thought of quitting power and the hungry LIONS are grabbing!".
Mr Dele Momodu, some months back was quoted to have said he would not support Buhari in 2019, that he has nothing personal for or against him.
“When the candidates emerge, I will proudly support one against APC, but If APC presents a different candidate, my choice may change but I would not follow sheepishly,” he tweeted.
“There is nothing personal I have about Buhari other than that in his present state, which is due to no fault of his, Nigeria deserves someone stronger. I wish him well always.” - Dele Momodu (source: Concise News)
