Ogun State: Gov. Dapo Abiodun signs four bills into law

The governor of Ogun state, Prince Dapo Abiodun signed four (4) bills into law on Friday, 20th September, 2019, at the governor's office, Oke-mosan, Abeokuta. 


The event had in attendance, Speaker of the Ogun state house of assembly, Rt. Hon. Olakunle Oluomo, Deputy Speaker, Hon. Oludare Kadiri and the deputy governor, Mrs. Noimot Salako.


In a statement released by the governor:
"Yesterday, I signed four Bills into law, as I was joined by the Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olakunle Oluomo and other Assembly members in my Oke-Mosan Office. 

"The Bills which concern issues of the Judiciary, social investment and finance management of the Legislature, will respectively ensure that justice is brought closer to the people, legitimate businesses are run within our State with ease, and that there is accountability in the management of the "Assembly's finances.
The Assembly's approval of our Anchor Borrowers' Programme and the passing of the resolution on 35% women and 10% youth participation, with prioritised consideration for people with special needs in Ogun State political office appointments, is indeed appreciated. 
"And the executive shall not relent on implementing these new Acts an Resolutions for the good of our people. #BuildingOurFutureTogether"
