The council members of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) led by the the society's president, Engr. Adekunle Mokuolu FNSE met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the state house on Wednesday, 4th September, 2019.
It was a great moment of deliberation between the President and the engineers as he urges them to team up in reversing the infrastructural deficit in the country.
President Buhari stated that the government on its part has given different executive orders aimed at encouraging local content and the inclusion of Nigerian engineers in different projects.
In his remarks, Engr. Mokuolu reiterates the commitment of Nigerian engineers to nation building and urged the government to always involve the Nigerian engineers from the conceptualization and initial stages of new engineering projects.
A national vice president of the NSE, Engr. Ibitoye Adeniran "KILOMODEMO" who was part of the delegation has congratulated the President of NSE, Engr. Adekunle Mokuolu FNSE and the Nigerian Society of Engineers at large.
